Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of 3 piece cans for the food industry. They are growing and need to add another Production Supervisor to their staff. They are located within commuting distance of Madison. They run a 24 x 7 operation but to not rotate shifts. This is a Monday through Friday position. This could be a either a second or third shift position depending on your preference.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of production supervision experience in the 3 piece can industry
2. The greater amount of education and training you have the better but the client understands that on the job experience counts for a lot.
3. Within the manufacturing of 3 piece cans it is expected you would have experience with sheet metal cutting, stamping, coating or welding
4. The greater your experience with automated production equipment, electronics, and state of the art quality practices the better.

Duties:
1. Lead a team of 30 to 50 people in at least one area for the production of 3 piece cans. This could be stamping of lids, cutting of can bodies, welding, coating or packaging.
2. Serve as a member of the production management team.
3. Help with hiring, training and coaching of team members
